UPDATE - April 29, 2020: While the state of GA has begun reopening, many individuals believe their best way to stay safe is to continue to stay at home, except for essential activities. As a result, our May 4th course has been cancelled.
This pandemic is a confusing and frustrating situation for us all. We hope that most of America will soon see definite progress regarding the containment of Coronavirus. We all want to be able to resume our normal activities as soon as possible.
UPDATE - April 2, 2020: At this point, a great number of states have issued "Shelter-In-Place" or "Stay At Home" orders, including Texas and Georgia. As a result, our April 20th course has also been cancelled.
Our Basics online self-paced courses are still an available option. And, in preparation for the possibility that the various government lockdown orders stay in place for several more weeks or months, we are currently building a LIVE instructor-led online learning option for our In Depth course. This is still an evolving situation, any further cancellations or changes will be posted here as an update.
ORIGINAL POST - March 19, 2020
Coronavirus (COVID-19) has spread to the U.S. and is impacting all Americans. During this pandemic, we will strive to focus on the well-being of our students and our staff. Given the current guidelines from the White House, CDC, and local government officials, we've decided to cancel our March 30th course that was scheduled to be held in the Atlanta, GA area.
No other course dates have been cancelled at this time, but this is an evolving situation. Our next in-classroom courses are scheduled to begin on April 20th in the Dallas, TX area and May 4th in the Atlanta, GA area. And, our self-paced online course option is still available.
While Coronavirus continues to be a threat, we will be prepared to follow any applicable CDC guidelines, such as cleaning/sanitizing high touch areas in the classroom and limiting student seats to comply with the recommended maximum group size guidelines. Hand sanitizer will be available in the classroom for student use and we'll be encouraging frequent hand washing; bathrooms are always available for student use just down the hall from the classroom. Students and staff who do not feel well should not attend class. Students may reschedule their in-classroom course dates for up to 1 year.
If any additional cancellations occur or any other changes are made, we will provide updates on this post. Regarding any changes involving registered students, we will also contact each registered student as soon as possible. And, of course, prospective students and registered students may call or email us for update inquiries.
